Tiger Airways Holdings, the publicly listed entity that owns Tiger Airways in Singapore and Australia, has warned it expects to post a loss for the three months ending Sept. 30, and in a separate development it faces a regulatory fight in the Philippines.
The carrier has a marketing tie-up with Philippine carrier Seair, and some of Tiger’s competitors in the Philippines have written to the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) of the Philippines saying that recent safety concerns with Tiger Australia raise serious questions that the CAB should investigate as well.
