Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) looks to launch a six-month trial of advanced CCTVs that will provide 24-hour monitoring of the streets and illegal parking.
his marks the first time CCTVs have been used by LTA on illegal parking. The move is expected to save on manpower that checks on roadside parking violations and to improve the efficiency of law enforcement. Right now, LTA sends inspectors for patrols to clamp down on illegal parking. Full story
