CCTVs, water level sensors to be installed at flood-prone areas

    The Public Utilities Board (PUB) will be installing 55 closed-circuit televisions at flood-prone areas islandwide.
    These additional cameras will be installed by early next month, adding to the current six cameras installed along Bukit Timah Road as part of a trial to monitor the situation during heavy rain.
    The cameras will allow the water agency to remotely monitor conditions in outlet drains and low-lying spots in real-time and allow for a faster dissemination of information to the public. Full story
