SINGAPORE, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) says it has not tightened quotas on foreign workers, but has instead tightened the entry criteria for the various work passes to raise standards and quality of the workers.
In his response to a question in Parliament on Friday, Minister of State for Manpower Tan Chuan-Jin said the government would periodically review the need for further adjustments while providing lead time for companies to adjust. Full story
