Malaysia minister apologized for immigration woes faced by Singapore tourists

    Malaysia’s Tourism Minister Ng Yen Yen apologised on Wednesday for the delays and inconvenience suffered by Singapore tourists due to the introduction of its new fingerprint scanning system in June.
    In Singapore to launch the latest Tourism Malaysia advertising campaign, Ng said that the teething issues faced with its new scanning system had a negative impact on Malaysia, which saw a significant decline in the number of tourists from the city-state. Full story
