In view of the Rochor residents & shops who have to make way for the new N-S Expressway, I propose 梧槽路 be renamed æ— è‰è·¯。
LTA chief on the new highway:
"Speaking at a press conference yesterday, LTA chief executive Chew Hock Yong noted that the city centre is “very crowded” and there are MRT lines and a canal running through the affected area. Mr Chew added: “The road has to be of a certain level of straightness because the cars would have to travel at a certain speed. So taking all that into account, that was the alignment that we have to settle on.” Full story
