    Before Singapore's general election this year, Workers' Party (WP) secretary-general Low Thia Khiang had its sole seat in Parliament -- the Hougang single member constituency.
    But on May 7, the opposition not only held on to that seat but bagged its first group constituency in Aljunied -- bringing in another five members of parliament.
    Another two candidates, as "best losers", came in as non-constituency MPs (NCMPs). Full story
