According to a Digitimes report, Acer intends to raise prices for new notebooks manufactured in December. This is due the tight supply of hard drives caused by the floods in Thailand. Acer's hard drive inventory is likely to be depleted by the end of this month and new drives will cost more. The same report also quoted Asus' vice chairman as saying that his company will have to raise prices, too. Full story
