Singapore Works Closely With Regional Countries To Safeguard Against Piracy

    SINGAPORE, Sept 29 (Bernama) -- To safeguard the Straits of Malacca and Singapore against piracy and armed robbery, piracies were tackled through close cooperation with regional countries and industries, said Minister of State for the finance and transport ministries Josephine Teo.
    She said the republic worked with institutions like the ReCAAP Information Sharing Centre which combated piracy and armed robbery against ships in Asia. Full story
