SINGAPORE: Malaysia and Singapore do not expect any delay in developing the parcels of land in the republic that both sides had agreed to despite a dispute between them regarding charges to be imposed for the development.
Both countries are expected to take this dispute to the Permanent Court of Arbitration for a decision.
It is learnt that development charges, which apply to businesses seeking to develop any land in Singapore, will be significant for the development of the parcels of land under the Points of Agreement (POA) between the two countries. Full story
